Founded by Dorienne Harel, Harel Architects is a Melbourne based Architecture practice which focuses on producing contemporary, environmentally conscious designs to meet the current market demands. We believe that each project deserves a unique solution.

Through ongoing collaboration with our clients and consultants, Harel Architects endeavours to combine the elements of function, practicality, commercial appeal and viability, the combination of which results in well planned, architecturally resolved solutions.

Dorienne Harel – Director

Originally from South Africa, Dorienne is a registered Architect with the Australian Institute of Architects and an Accredited Green Star Professional. After graduating with her Bachelors of Architecture and Arts from the University of New South Wales, Dorienne gained her range of architectural experiences and interests through both local and international practice.

From complex homes and holiday home projects throughout South Africa to designs for the high end domestic clientele in Sydney, Dorienne’s experience and keen interest in residential architecture is a driver in the firm.

She has completed designs and buildings in the commercial, retail and mixed use sector, primarily in Melbourne and again ranging in scale, price and complexity.
