A mere 2.4 metres wide, this tiny alley-like cafe proved to be a huge challenge in terms of the use of space. The space was initially to be for take away coffees only, however evolved into a successful eat in and take away business.
The simple lines and limited colour scheme gives the illusion of space. Penetrations through the dividing wall between the cafe and adjoining clothing store allow for the infiltration of light and visual connection to the street corner.
